About Pitt Plastics

Pitt Plastics is a manufacturer of industrial trash can liners using both linear low and high density polyethylene. We also make bags for food storage and a variety of other uses.

Established in 1972 by Gene Bicknell, Pitt Plastics began with two extruders and 27 employees in a 10,000 square foot facility.

Today we have facilities in three states with over 500 employees and 75 extruders housed in over half-a-million square feet of manufacturing and warehouse space.

Quality

A major responsibility in our partnership with you is to be sure at all times you are receiving products which meet our stringent specifications for perfection. It is not enough to design and operate a first rate manufacturing plant. Constant monitoring and testing is required throughout the process to insure you get what we guarantee - a quality product.

We maintain an in-house lab to test all materials and products assuring consistent quality. This lab also monitors all products which must meet state and federal regulations. In addition, or lab tests every rail car of resin we receive to ensure the raw materials we use meet our stringent requirements.
